Nichols shipping and handling policy. We have a flat $4.95 handling charge on all orders. For seed orders and other lightweight items this is the only charge. Orders are sent as soon as received:the default shipping is through the United States Postal Service.
For products like garlic, roots and heavy items, we charge shipping. The charge is $2.50 per shipping unit. We note the shipping weight or unit on those items with shipping charges. After a $100 order we reduce these shipping costs to $1.50 per unit. On very large shipments like 50 lbs of garlic, we figure and charge actual shipping costs.
For expedited orders we offer express shipping beginning at $19.50 and we charge actual shipping costs in these cases for heavy orders. For express shipping give us a call and we can better calculate the costs.
We ship ONLY seeds and merchandise to Hawaii and APO addresses or foreign addresses.
After an order reaches $150, we apply a 5% discount. For Canadian and foreign orders, please contact us for specific details.
